Flexible Foam

Flexible Polyurethane Foam is a blend of polyether polyols, catalysts, surfactants and fire retardants to produce high resilience flexible foams. May be blended with Melamine and reacted with component A an MDI based isocyanate, to produce combustion modified high resilience flexible foam.

General Purpose Insulation Foam

ENDURATHANE general purpose foams are low density, highly energy efficient, general purpose insulation and buoyancy foams suitable for application by machine injection and bucket and drill mix technique. ENDURATHANE general purpose foams are formulated with HFC as the blowing agent which has zero ozone depleting potential. ENDURATHANE general purpose foams are fire retarded with good self-extinguishing properties, coupled with low thermal conductivity and permeability, good mechanical strength, chemical resistance and dimensional stability.

APPLICATIONS:

  • Pipe insulation
  • Buoyancy chambers
  • Insulated building panels
  • Refrigerated transport trailers
  • Refrigerated containers
  • Commercial display cabinets
  • Walk-in coolers/freezers
  • Fish holds & freezers
  • Laminated composites for:- low cost insulation boards, roofing and wall panels.

Hotwater Cylinders

ENDURATHANE Hot Water Cylinder Foam has been developed especially for the insulation of domestic and commercial hot water cylinders, dairy tanks, pipelines and panels where good flow and ease of machine processability is required. ENDURATHANE Hot Water Cylinder Foam is a low density, rigid polyurethane foam system with dual gas blowing mechanism utilising the latest blowing agent technology, maximising insulation value and other physical properties. Good flow, medium to fast reactivity and positive cure are features which contribute to rapid processing and high productivity.  These properties are coupled with good mechanical strength, low thermal conductivity and ease of handling.

RECOMMENDED USES:

  • Domestic and commercial hot water cylinders
  • Pipe insulation
  • Tank insulation
  • Insulated building panels

Injection Foam

ENDURATHANE injection foams are low density, highly energy efficient, general purpose insulation and buoyancy medium suitable for application by machine injection. A number of the ENDURATHANE injection foams are formulated with HFC as the blowing agent which has zero ozone depleting potential.ENDURATHANE injection foams are fire retarded with good self-extinguishing properties, coupled with low thermal conductivity and permeability, good mechanical strength, chemical resistance and dimensional stability.

APPLICATIONS:

  • Wall and door cavity insulation
  • Pipe insulation
  • Buoyancy chambers
  • Structural insulated building panels (SIPs)
  • Refrigerated transport trailers
  • Refrigerated containers
  • Commercial display cabinets
  • Walk-in coolers/freezers
  • Fish holds & freezers
  • Laminated composites for:- light weight spandrels, low cost insulation boards, roofing panels and partition panel systems.

Marine Buoyancy

ENDURATHANE Buoyancy Foams are low density, highly energy efficient, general purpose insulation and buoyancy medium suitable for application by machine injection or bucket and mix technique.

ENDURATHANE Buoyancy Foams are fire retarded with good self-extinguishing properties, coupled with low thermal conductivity and permeability, good mechanical strength, chemical resistance and dimensional stability.

RECOMMENDED USES:

  • Boat hulls
  • Buoyancy chambers
  • Marine buoys

Moulding & Theming

Products comprise rigid and flexible spray foams, machine grade and handpour grade rigid and flexible moulding foams and casting elastomers.

Integral skin polyurethane rigid and flexible moulding foams consist of a cellular core and discreet non-cellular surface layer forming a sandwich structure.  The core and surface layers consist of one and the same material and are formed in a single operation (ie not laminates).

APPLICATION INCLUDE:

  • Film sets
  • Props
  • Costumes
  • Spray in mould items

Panel Adhesives

Sandwich panels are an attractive option in new buildings such as machine halls, cold storage rooms, mobile homes and warehouses. Modern bonding technology must meet the increasing performance demands on products and goods for the construction industry.
With Huntsman Polyurethanes’ adhesive systems for continuous panel laminating (CPL), based on its SUPRASEC® diphenylmethane diisocyanate (MDI) and DALTOFOAM® formulated polyol blend, higher efficiency targets can be reached and production outputs increased.
Adhesive systems developed by Huntsman enhance the performance of sandwich boards with features such as faster green-strength build-up, greater flexibility and higher bonding strength.

Applications:

  • Laminated composites for:- light weight spandrels, low cost insulation boards, roofing panels and partition panel systems.

PIR Panel Foam

HUNTSMAN® PIR foam offers the possibility to meet existing and future panel regulations. It has all the positive attributes expected of a PUR foam: it is lightweight and offers good thermal conductivity and moisture resistance, making it superior to mineral wool (MW) or expanded polystyrene (EPS)-based panels. Importantly however, it can also be used to address panel applications where fire resistance is
essential. Employing environmentally friendly, halogen-free ingredients to achieve good fire properties, HUNTSMAN® PIR formulations are a reliable solution for panel projects where PUR foam is
deemed unsuitable.

Applications:

  • Composites panels for:- light weight insulation boards, roofing and wall panel systems.

Slabstock Foam

Polymer Group manufacture a range foam of foam raw materials used to manufacture rigid polyurethane foam sheet.

Foam block & sheet is available in the following densities 40, 63, 96, 150 and upto 240 kg/m³, other densities are available upon request.

Spray Foam

Endurathane spray foam provides the most efficient thermal insulation value of any building material. Because Endurathane spray foam is sprayed-in-place, there are no gaps, seams or fasteners to act as thermal bridges.

Endurathane spray foam may be rapidly installed to large areas of roofing by high productivity spray equipment. Labour costs are minimised as the liquid applied system conforms and adheres to complex roof shapes and details with no need for mechanical flashings, fasteners or fittings.

The resin and isocyanate components are processed using heated plural airless spray equipment.
